YOKO-FLB-L

Automatic Pouch Packing Machine for Powder

YOKO-FLB-L is a vertical powder-pouch packaging family with eleven reference models. Published bag widths span 25–300 mm and lengths 30–400 mm depending on model, with listed outputs from 1,200 to 7,800 bags per hour. Powder properties, dose, film laminate, seal layer, bag geometry, registration, auger selection, dust at the seal, coding, cutting, and downstream handling must be evaluated as one packaging system.

Equipment purpose

What this machine is designed to do

The equipment forms sachets or pouches from rollstock, meters powder through an auger system, seals the package, cuts the web, and applies optional batch coding. It is intended for single-dose or retail powder packs using back, three-side, or four-side seal formats supported by the selected configuration.

Operating sequence

Working principle

Printed or unprinted film unwinds and passes over a forming set to create the package profile. The auger meters powder into the open pack while the machine controls film advance and registration. Longitudinal and transverse sealing jaws create the closure before cutting and discharge. Dose stability, seal contamination, registration, bag appearance, and output depend on powder flow, auger setup, film friction, tension, temperature, dwell, jaw pressure, and dust management.

Review points

  • Eleven models cover materially different bag envelopes, machine footprints, and speed ranges.
  • Auger selection and powder conditioning are linked directly to dose repeatability and seal cleanliness.
  • Photoelectric registration requires stable print marks, film tracking, tension, and compensation settings.
  • Film compatibility must be proven for forming, friction, heat sealing, cutting, and the intended storage barrier.
  • Saw-tooth, tear-notch, perforation, or other cutting details should be defined from the package-use requirement.
  • A useful trial measures fill distribution, seal integrity, residual powder in the seal, code quality, bag dimensions, and sustained output.

Selection questions

Frequently asked questions

Which film information is needed for YOKO-FLB-L?

Provide the laminate structure and thickness, roll width and diameter, core size, sealant layer, coefficient of friction if available, print repeat, registration mark, artwork orientation, barrier requirement, and supplier samples. Film that looks similar can differ in tracking, sealing window, curl, stiffness, and static.

How can powder contamination in the seal be reduced?

Control powder drop timing, nozzle position, dose cutoff, air movement, static, dust extraction, bag opening, and sealing delay. Cohesive or aerated powders may need a different auger, settling time, or package geometry. The acceptable seal area and test method should be defined and demonstrated with the actual powder and film.

Does the fastest model suit every bag size?

No. Bag length, dose, sealing time, film behaviour, print registration, cutting, and product settling affect cycle rate. Each model has its own format window. The acceptance output must identify the exact bag, film, powder, dose, and run conditions rather than use the highest family value.

Which seal-integrity test should be used in the FAT?

Use a method appropriate to the package and product, such as visual inspection, peel assessment, leak testing, burst testing, or another agreed procedure. Define conditioning, sample size, acceptance criteria, and how intentional features such as tear notches or perforations are treated. The method should reflect the intended distribution risk.

What powder data is required before an auger trial?

Provide target dose and tolerance, bulk and tapped density, particle-size range, flow, cohesion, dustiness, moisture sensitivity, aeration, product temperature, cleaning restrictions, and enough representative material for setup and a sustained run. These data help select the auger and interpret trial results.
