YOKO-WZH-N
YOKO-WZH-N is a horizontal cartoning family with eight reference configurations. Published production ranges extend from 600 to 6,000 cartons per hour depending on model and product format, with carton-board references of 250–400 g/m². A reliable selection requires the actual product presentation, carton and leaflet drawings, loading method, closure style, coding, inspection, reject logic, buffer strategy, and sustained upstream rate.
Equipment purpose
The machine erects flat cartons, presents the product and any leaflet or insert, loads the required components, closes the flaps by tuck or configured adhesive method, and discharges the completed carton. It is intended for bottles, blister cards, tubes, sachets, trays, and other compatible products after a format and feeding review.
Operating sequence
Carton blanks are picked from a magazine, opened, and held in an indexed horizontal transport. Product and leaflet feeds synchronize with each carton, and verification controls can prevent loading or closure when required components are absent. After insertion, flaps are folded and tucked or glued, coding and inspection occur where specified, and nonconforming cartons are rejected before discharge.

Selection questions
Supply production-intent products, flat carton blanks, leaflets, inserts, and any trays or dividers, together with approved drawings and tolerances. The quantity should cover setup, changeover, and the agreed FAT duration. Samples should represent the intended suppliers and printing or coating conditions.
Paperboard thickness, stiffness, fibre direction, crease depth, surface coating, static, moisture, flatness, glue behaviour, and dimensional variation affect magazine feeding, erection, flap folding, and closure. A carton trial should identify the exact material and supplier rather than approving dimensions in isolation.
Convert both machines to the same saleable-unit basis and use sustained rates after normal stops. Include product grouping, leaflet replenishment, carton loading, rejects, glue warm-up, coding, and buffer capacity. A cartoner with a higher nominal rate can still stop the line if the product feed or accumulation strategy is unsuitable.
Projects may require product presence, leaflet presence, carton presence, code verification, closure or flap checks, serialization interfaces, and reject confirmation. The exact sensors and challenge tests should follow the user's quality-risk assessment and be documented in the functional specification and FAT protocol.
The available closure depends on the selected configuration and carton design. Tuck flaps and hot-melt glue need different tooling and checks, and some projects combine them. Provide the approved carton drawing and required tamper or opening behaviour so the quotation can identify the correct closure equipment.
