YOKO-16SJ is a 16-lane vision counting machine for tablets, hard capsules, softgels, and compatible discrete products. Its catalogue reference is 4,200 bottles per hour with an adjustable count from 8 to 9,999 units per bottle. Product geometry, translucency, overlap, dust, bounce, feed stability, bottle handling, inspection logic, and the required counting challenge must be evaluated with actual samples before the sustained line rate is confirmed.
Equipment purpose
The machine separates bulk solid-dose products into controlled lanes, uses an imaging system to identify and count units, and releases the programmed quantity into each detected bottle. It is intended for higher-output bottling projects that need count verification across regular or selected irregular product shapes.
Operating sequence
Bulk product moves from the hopper through staged vibration into sixteen feed paths. The vision zone captures passing units and applies the configured image-analysis rules before the controller opens the discharge gate for the target count. Bottle presence, feed distribution, product spacing, lighting, image thresholds, discharge timing, and conveyor synchronization determine counting stability and false-reject behaviour.

Selection questions
Test every shape, colour, transparency, size, and surface condition planned for production, including the most difficult product rather than only an easy round tablet. Samples should represent normal dust, static, defects, and lot variation. The trial should challenge overlap, broken pieces, doubles, feed interruptions, and the intended count per bottle.
No counting technology is independent of setup and product conditions. Vision can distinguish and track units when feeding, lighting, focus, contrast, and image rules are controlled, but overlapping, reflective, transparent, broken, or dusty products can require recipe development. The agreed counting test and response to uncertainty should be documented.
It is a catalogue reference, not a rate that applies to every product and count. Bottle speed changes with units per bottle, lane feed, product separation, bottle changeover, downstream stops, rejects, and replenishment. Acceptance output should identify the exact product, count, bottle, run time, and permitted interventions.
Provide bottle drawings and samples, material, diameter, height, neck opening, stability, target count, conveyor height, and the upstream and downstream machine sequence. Wide or narrow openings, lightweight bottles, and unusual centre of gravity can affect guides, funnels, timing, and line speed.
Include count challenges, product recognition, broken or foreign-piece challenges where appropriate, no-bottle operation, blockage response, alarm display, recipe change, count change, bottle changeover, reject handling, power recovery, cleaning access, and a sustained run with the approved product and bottles.
