YOKO-GY-B
YOKO-GY-B is a high-output rotary tablet-press family with ten reference configurations. The catalogue covers 29 to 75 punch stations, maximum main pressure references of 80 or 100 kN, and nominal capacities from 139,200 to 675,000 tablets per hour, with one lower-output range also listed. The correct model depends on tablet geometry, tooling, formulation compressibility, dwell time, containment, and realistic downstream capacity.
Equipment purpose
The series is designed to compress prepared powder or granules into tablets at industrial production rates. It is intended for projects where the tablet press must be evaluated as part of a complete process that includes feed preparation, dedusting, inspection, optional metal detection, coating, and transfer to primary packaging.
Operating sequence
A feed system meters formulation into dies mounted in a rotating turret. Upper and lower punches travel through pre-compression and main-compression zones, after which the lower punch raises the tablet for take-off and discharge. Tablet quality is governed by tooling condition, fill depth, compression force, turret speed, feeder settings, formulation flow and compressibility, and the time available for air release and consolidation.

Selection questions
No. Punch count sets one part of the mechanical opportunity, but stable output also depends on turret speed, tooling, fill depth, feeder performance, formulation flow, compression dwell time, ejection force, and the tablet-quality limits. Downstream dedusting and inspection must also accept the resulting rate without repeatedly stopping the press.
Provide tablet drawings, target weight and thickness, maximum diameter, tooling preference, formulation route, bulk density, flow and compressibility information, required sustained output, room and containment conditions, utilities, and downstream equipment. The shortlist should compare the full operating window rather than a single maximum-capacity value.
Use production-intent granules or an agreed representative batch and the intended tooling. Record tablet weight, thickness, hardness, friability, visual defects, compression force, ejection behaviour, dust, feeder stability, and output over a defined period. Any scale-up assumptions should remain visible in the test report and technical agreement.
Projects often underestimate floor loading, maintenance clearance, safe tooling movement, dust extraction, product transfer, room pressure effects, electrical isolation, compressed air, and the footprint of the deduster and metal detector. These interfaces should be shown on an agreed layout before manufacture or shipment.
