YOKO-10S is an automatic electronic counter for filling tablets, hard capsules, softgels, and selected solid units into bottles. The reference range is 1,200–3,000 bottles per hour at 30–100 units per bottle, with an adjustable count from 1 to 9,999 and bottle references of 30–100 mm diameter by 40–180 mm height. Stable output depends on product separation, count, bottle opening, dust, static, and connected-line behaviour.

Working principle

Product is distributed from the hopper across vibrating feed channels until individual units pass the electronic detection zone. The controller totals the detections for each bottle and coordinates the discharge gate with bottle presence and conveyor movement. Feed rate, product spacing, sensor response, dust, static, count setpoint, funnel geometry, and bottle indexing determine the practical speed and count reliability.

What is the difference between YOKO-10S and a vision counter?

YOKO-10S uses electronic detection after vibratory separation, while a vision system analyses captured images. Electronic counting can be a practical choice for qualified products and moderate line rates; vision may provide additional recognition options for difficult shapes. The decision should follow sample trials, required challenges, count assurance, and maintenance capability.

Can one YOKO-10S recipe cover tablets and capsules?

Separate recipes are normally established because vibration, feed spacing, sensor response, funnel setup, and line speed differ by product. A recipe name does not replace physical change parts or verification. Each product and bottle combination should have documented settings and a count challenge before production use.

Why does a higher count per bottle reduce output?

The machine must detect and discharge more units for each container, so the bottle remains at the filling position longer. Product feed rate, lane occupancy, bottle exchange time, and downstream handling also contribute. The published 1,200–3,000-bottle range references 30–100 units per bottle and should not be extrapolated without a trial.

Which product conditions can disturb electronic counting?

Heavy dust, static, product overlap, bounce, fragments, very translucent units, inconsistent coating, oily surfaces, and poor hopper flow can affect spacing or detection. Product presentation and sensor cleanliness should be observed during a sustained trial, including normal replenishment and stop-start operation.

What data is needed for a complete bottling-line quotation?
