YOKO-LGF-Z
YOKO-LGF-Z is an automatic filling and closing machine for aluminium tubes, with a reference output of 1,800 tubes per hour. The published format window covers tube diameters of 10–50 mm and lengths of 20–250 mm, subject to confirmed change parts. A project review should connect product viscosity and temperature, fill dose, tube dimensions, internal coating, end-fold pattern, coding, cleaning, air supply, and carton interface.
Equipment purpose
The machine is intended to orient empty aluminium tubes, meter cream, ointment, gel, or compatible paste into each tube, form the required folded closure, apply coding where configured, and discharge the finished pack. It suits pharmaceutical, personal-care, and similar products that use deformable metal tubes rather than heat-sealed plastic or laminate tubes.
Operating sequence
Tubes are loaded into indexed holders and oriented from a printed registration mark or mechanical reference when required. A piston, pump, or other configured dosing system fills from the open end, often with a bottom-up motion selected for the product. The tube tail is then flattened and folded through the specified sequence before coding, trimming if applicable, inspection, and discharge.

Selection questions
This page covers an aluminium-tube filling and folding configuration. Plastic and laminate tubes normally require a different sealing system, such as hot air or ultrasonic energy, plus different tooling. If several tube materials are planned, provide samples and drawings so the required machine architecture can be reviewed rather than assuming one closure station covers all materials.
Viscosity at filling temperature, yield behaviour, particulates, air sensitivity, stringing, hopper residence time, pump and seal compatibility, nozzle diameter, cutoff, and dose range all matter. A heated or agitated hopper and bottom-up filling may be appropriate, but these are configuration decisions that should be proven with a representative product trial.
A photoelectric sensor can detect a suitable registration mark and rotate the tube to the required position before filling and folding. Artwork contrast, print consistency, tube reflectivity, mark location, and allowable orientation tolerance should be evaluated with production-intent tubes.
Check fold sequence and dimensions, tail cleanliness, code position and legibility, leakage or closure integrity using the agreed method, cosmetic damage, orientation, fill weight, and rejected conditions. The protocol should state the tube supplier, product or substitute, speed, run duration, and sample size.
Provide discharge orientation, tube dimensions, target sustained rate, buffer requirement, transfer height, coding inspection, reject handling, and carton-loading method. The cartoner may require the folded tail and printed panel to arrive in a controlled orientation, so the interface should be tested as a line rather than as two independent machines.
