Application note
Application Note: Capsule Bottling Line Scope
A reference review showing how capsule characteristics and bottle formats shape a counting-line equipment scope.
Scope and limitations
This is a reference application note, not a claim about a named customer project. It illustrates the information required to scope a capsule bottling line.
Product and container inputs
The starting inputs are capsule size, shell material, dust level, target count per bottle, bottle dimensions, cap and liner format, target bottles per minute, and required inspection points. Sample testing is important when capsules are highly polished, translucent, statically charged, or unusually shaped.
Typical equipment sequence
A typical scope may include bottle unscrambling, electronic or vision counting, desiccant insertion, capping, induction sealing, labelling, coding, and collection. The correct sequence and model sizes depend on actual components and the sustained target rate.
Required review output
The review output should include the proposed line sequence, model list, reference capacities, change parts, utility requirements, footprint, documentation scope, and the assumptions that still require confirmation.

16-channel Vision Counting Machine
YOKO-16SJ is a 16-lane vision counting machine for tablets, hard capsules, softgels, and compatible discrete products. Its catalogue reference is 4,200 bottles per hour with an adjustable count from 8 to 9,999 units per bottle. Product geometry, translucency, overlap, dust, bounce, feed stability, bottle handling, inspection logic, and the required counting challenge must be evaluated with actual samples before the sustained line rate is confirmed.
- Reference range
- 4200 bottles/hr
Automatic Gummy Counting Machine
The YOKO-T16SP automatic gummy counting machine is intended for gummy counting and hard-candy counting. Selection is reviewed against gummies and hard candy, target output, utilities, and line interfaces. Final configuration is defined in the quotation and technical agreement.
- Reference range
- 180,000 (3g) pcs/hr
Automatic PET Bottle Unscrambler
YOKO-LP-I is a rotary bottle-unscrambler family for empty PET or compatible plastic bottles. Three reference models list outputs of 6,000, 15,000, and 24,000 bottles per hour, with a common bottle reference of 50–95 mm diameter and 165–310 mm height. Actual suitability depends on bottle geometry, neck and shoulder design, material stiffness, static, bulk loading, air conveying, changeover scope, and the receiving line speed.
- Reference range
- Confirmed for the selected product and format
Automatic Plastic Bottle Sorting Machine
The YOKO-120LP automatic plastic bottle sorting machine is intended for pharmaceutical bottling and nutraceutical bottling. Selection is reviewed against plastic bottles and glass bottles where compatible, target output, utilities, and line interfaces. Final configuration is defined in the quotation and technical agreement.
- Reference range
- 60-200 bottles/min
High-speed Desiccant Pouch Inserter
The YOKO-GSP high-speed desiccant pouch inserter is intended for tablet bottles and capsule bottles. Selection is reviewed against desiccant canisters and desiccant sachet strips, target output, utilities, and line interfaces. Final configuration is defined in the quotation and technical agreement.
- Reference range
- 5100-5400 / 9600 bottles/hr
Automatic Desiccant Sachet Inserter
The YOKO-GS automatic desiccant sachet inserter is intended for tablet bottles and capsule bottles. Selection is reviewed against desiccant canisters and desiccant sachet strips, target output, utilities, and line interfaces. Final configuration is defined in the quotation and technical agreement.
- Reference range
- 600-4800 bottles/hr
